About the Author
Christina Hesler is an Oklahoma author who writes memoir, horror, and psychological fiction. Her debut memoir, The House That Silence Built, tells her story of survival, family, silence, and what it took to finally tell the truth.
Her fiction goes somewhere darker. Christina is drawn to ordinary people, complicated families, small towns, old houses, and the unsettling things that can exist beneath seemingly normal lives. She writes the kinds of stories she loves to read—the ones that make you uncomfortable, keep you turning pages, and stay in your head after you've finished them.
When she isn't writing, Christina can usually be found reading, spending time with her family and dogs, or dreaming up the next story she wants to tell.
